Yesterday’s Story

July 15th, 2007 by stevengunawanTwo weeks ago, I went to Anyer and fell in love with beach. So, when my mom invited me to join her choir for a gathering at Tanjung Lesung, Banten, I didn’t have any reason to refuse it. (Though along the way I realized there won’t be any beach, I still can see the sea ;p). Hence, on Saturday (07/14) morning, we set off to Tanjung Lesung and there goes my diary.
Our brunch at “Rumah Makan Priangan” somewhere at Pandeglang, Banten.
These are the view of the Tanjung Lesung.
Surprisingly, it was very rocky, but still, it was beautiful. Akh, free man, wish you were (t)here with me.
I also played with my digital camera producing what I called as professionally-taken-amateur-pictures =). Left to Right; I-don’t-know-what-its-name flower, dying-jellyfish, uniquely-shaped-blue-coral.
Thanks to Tante Asih and Om Leo for the dinner.
I introduced the new version of Rack-O as well to the previous-version-of-Rack-O-fans. We managed to play two game series. I won one of it. YAY!
This was the room where I spent the night and the cool roofless bathroom.
By morning, I, along with my mom, sauntered through shore until we found this spot which I think is the most beautiful spot ever at Tanjung Lesung. It’s like you’re at the end of the world – who else aside from you who I wish to be with at that place?
And, finally, I snorkeled! HURRAY!!
Again, no breakfast, no lunch. Brunch. That’s what we had for these past two days. “Nasi goreng” plus a slice of Om Edy’s 54th birthday cake.
We went back home at 1 p.m. and arrive at 4.30 p.m. *Deep sigh* Another wonderful but exhausting getaway. Thanks mom for taking me with you!
You Ruined Me
July 10th, 2007 by stevengunawanI just want you to read this, but don’t tell me you if you have read this. Just give me a sign. I’ll know by that time. This is what I feel, what I want, and what you have to know.
The perfect words never crossed my mind,
’cause there was nothing in there but you,
I felt every ounce of me screaming out,
But the sound was trapped deep in me,
All I wanted just sped right past me,
While I was rooted fast to the earth,
I could be stuck here for a thousand years,
Without your arms to drag me out
(Snow Patrol – Signal Fire)
I wonder through fiction to look for the truth
Buried beneath all the lies
and I stood at a distance
To feel who you are
Hiding myself in your eyes
(Goo Goo Dolls – Before It’s Too Late)
I can’t be with anyone
Since I felt our worlds collide
It’s like I almost died
The way you make me feel
I’m changing, got me breaking down inside
Baby can’t you see
You ruined me for life
(JC Chasez – You Ruined Me)
Why can’t you act as if you know me as I know you? Because when you’re around, I couldn’t be myself. You’ve been an invisible subject of my life. You’ve got to be visible forthwith.
The Truth
July 8th, 2007 by stevengunawanI’m not denying anything of myself. I’m just closing this door. Maybe I’m expecting you to open it.
I’ve had enough of this parade.
I’m thinking of the words to say.
We open up unfinished parts,
Broken up, it’s only love.
And when I see you then I know it will be next to me
And when I need you then I know you will be there with me
I’ll never leave you…
Just need to get closer, closer,
Lean on me now, Lean on me now…
(Closer - Travis)
Belated Diary: Once Upon A Time in Anyer
July 8th, 2007 by stevengunawanThey’re right; when you finally get a job, you’ll get busier and you’ll have less time to hang out with you family and friends.
So, we (I and four of my friends; Rin, Cin, Sher, and Ron) decided to go to Anyer for our getaway last Saturday (06/30).
It was my second time (in my life) going to a beach. It was a blast; we rode a banana boat and jet-ski, plus played on a body board. Even though it was too salty (Come on Steven, you were at the beach!), it was a fantastic moment.
We also went to “Ibu Wati Seafood” and had “Ikan kwe bakar”, “Cumi goreng tepung”, “Udang saos tiram & saos padang”, and “Kangkung cah” for our dinner. Yummy!
I managed to have my arm tatooed as well while having my dinner.
Before went to sleep, we also played “Dor” game and bet it on a booze. (Right) victims, or rather losers, of the game =)
Since it was only a one night trip, so we went home right away the next day after bought some stuffs and had a lunch at “Nasi Uduk Tempo Doeloe” – somewhere at Jl. Karang Bolong, Anyer.
*Deep sigh* It was quite exhausting, but I loved it very much. What a wonderful getaway. So, next trip destination… BALI – the real beach.
